Hi Bob. Just a note to let you know we had a great ski week at Sunday River. We appreciate your efforts accommodating Nick's specific needs; it certainly made our week easier. Nick, Emma, Olivia, Helen and I had a super time. The kids look forward to it all winter and we're planning on booking our third ski week with you in the fall.

Hi Bob. Just wanted to thank you for getting us the accommodations at the Summit. We would like to book the same place, same time next year! Our view was spectacular. We had seven days of sunshine with apres ski tanning with a glass of wine on the deck.

We had an awesome five days at Sunday River!! We arrived just hours before Team Canada scored in overtime to win the gold medal game at the Vancouver Olympics. The kids at the Jordan Hotel celebrated by hanging Canadian flags from the 2nd floor balcony. Sunday River had just received four feet of fresh snow...WOW...even double diamond runs were well snow covered making for some memorable family skiing!!
CONGRATULATIONS to the Tozer Family (Brad, Carol, Sarah and Nathan), Fredericton, NB. 2011 ski season winners of the Family Photo Contest. The Tozer family received a $125 US Sugarloaf Gift Card. (Group Leader's Note: Thank you for all the drawings Sarah! They are proudly displayed in my office).

At the Sunday River wine and cheese party, Bob the Ski Guy had the pleasure of meeting Alex and Aidan Levy, aged 10 and 11, two great boys. I also had the pleasure of meeting Liam Starrat, a budding videographer and brothers Aiden and Nolan. They told Bob about their "Gopro helmet camera" and how they can take videos while skiing. They promised to send along their videos once completed and folks, here they are. Featured in the videos are Aidan and Alex Levy, Liam, Aidan, and Nolan Starret, all fantastic kids. (Thanks to great parents like Jessica and Duane Starratt and Todd and Cindy Levy). You must check these out - they're fantastic. The Rogerson family of PEI host Islanders to a Summer Ski Do!!
Last summer on Prince Edward Island, Sunday River was still very much on the minds of our PEI families.
From ski dummies (that's not really Cale Rogerson standing there!), to races in full ski gear, parents and kids all extended their winter skiing the lane to the Rogerson home.
Thank you PEI! We love your spirit and we love your Island We look forward to seeing you on real snow in 2012.

Van Wart Ski Groups and Sunday River Ski Resort extend sincere congratulations to Kristina Brun and Mathieu Landry.
This past March, Mathieu proposed to Kristina slopeside at Sunday River.
Kristina's Mom, Gisele was proud to share the experience with us. "One of their first trips together was a Sunday River ski trip three years ago. It was only fitting that the engagement took place on the mountain as they both love to ski" a very excited Gisele told us. "Both families were there to celebrate in their joy and are very excited about their future".
On behalf of all the families and friends of the Van Wart Ski Groups and Sunday River Ski Resort we congratulate Kristina and Mathieu and look forward to hearing all about their special wedding day.
We are also pleased to announce that the Brun family has been awarded a $100 US Sunday River gift card for sharing their story and providing us with photos of their special day on our slopes at Sunday River Ski Resort

PEI Famiies "Raise the Bar" at Sunday River
The MacArthur and Thompson families from Prince Edward Island have been skiing with Van Wart Ski Groups and Sunday River Ski Resort for a very long time!
This past season, the two families changed it up a bit and stayed together in a 3-bedroom condo at White Cap Village. "The accommodations at White Cap for the 2 families was perfect". wrote Marc MacArthur. "Just when we think we can't have a better vacation than last year, 2013 at Sunday River has risen the bar even higher. The Thompson's and MacArthur's had an absolute blast at Sunday River. Thanks again Bob!"
